Even TLC does it- see the 'figs in the Tine Milk Truck set and the Velux set.
The only thing that worries me about the helmet is the curve- I've never really
seen a sticker that looked sharp applied to a curved surface.  Well, a surface
curved in more than one way, anyway (like a dome vs. a curved wall).

Eric, just so you know, I'm making Macross/Robotech minfigs!

I thought about asking, but it seemed too much to hope for.

I'm gonna
begin working on the prototype for the helmet next weekend. The only
question that remains is how well the molds take.  I've never molded parts
this small before.

You're molding your own helmets?  Yipe!

I as thinking of doing something similar, making a skull visor for a knight. since don't want to mass produce them I haven't decieded wheather I will use a sand mold method to form a new plastic piece or use a gold astronaut's visor and use (...)
