Hi Alan, Your wall and gate are very impressive. I like how they wall is not extremely tall but it is wide for troops to move around on top. The gate at a 45 degree angle is awesome. (Your clue minifigures are also cool) Ben (23 years ago, 9-May-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) I am not certain, but I think the first sets I saw with faces other than the standard yellow smiley were the first generation of Pirate sets (1989). These sets included the face you mention as well as the Redbeard face, the stubble with (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Does anybody know what was the first minifig face (not including the standard grin)? I was having a look around the usual resources and the lowest numbered set with a non-standard grin face is 6235 from 1989 which has the moustache and stubble (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
