First minifig with non standard grin?

Does anybody know what was the first minifig face (not including the
standard grin)?
I was having a look around the usual resources and the lowest numbered set
with a non-standard grin face is 6235 from 1989 which has the moustache and
stubble pirate without eyepatch.
Is there an earlier contender for the title of first non-standard face?

| (...) I am not certain, but I think the first sets I saw with faces other than the standard yellow smiley were the first generation of Pirate sets (1989). These sets included the face you mention as well as the Redbeard face, the stubble with (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
