Gunports should be okay using the standard LEGO 2x2 flag as gunport lids,
mounted to 2x1 plates with handle (2540).

Keep the gunports closed!

The grey or black modern hulls give that rivetted industrial look, which -
while not accurate - gives the right impression. If a SNOT 'wooden hull will
work is definitely worth finding out though...

| (...) It's not so much the covering of the port that I'm worried about as the actually fitting of 15 into either side. It'll take some very crafty work to get a deck to match ports built into a SNOTed hull to the cannon on the deck within, not to (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)
