I've checked out a couple local Targets and i'm getting the impression that
the clearance around here won't be as good as it has been the last two
years. :(
The reason that I say this is that the stores that I stopped at did not seem
to have nearly the stock levels, especially of big sets, that they had last
year. Last year Lego took up an entire side of one aisle, with overflow
onto the other side of the aisle as well (at most stores). And they had all
the big sets in stock as well (The UCS, the Falcon, Mindstorms, DDK,
Studios, Etc.)
I'm not seeing the same thing at the stores this year. Lego barely takes up
one side of the aisle, and there is a distinct lack of larger sets. Perhaps
they finally caught on that they lose money selling $80 for $20. Perhaps
the stuff is actually selling this year. Or perhaps my Targets just suck
this year.
