Hi, I've put together my first WWII moc, a Heinkel He219 nightfighter (German). The He219 was a high-performance twin-engine fighter that debuted in 1943. (...) Good MOC, you nailed the pencil thin fuselage, though once again the canopy is tricky. Did the old TV antenna's come in grey? That would look great, though I have no idea what they go for. George (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Wow! that looks fabulous! the shape is so perfect, that is soooo cool! the wings are great, as are the tail fins. I love the engines too, they're sweet! (...) The old antennae do indeed come in grey - though I couldn't tell you what set, or what they're ging for now. (...) My thoughts exactly - after I was finished I realized it was a passable Dornier 17, especially with the canopy I used, and the upper wing profile. Oh well. (...) (...) Thanks guys. Yeah, I thought how killer those antennae would look, didn't have any available though :( If I can dredge any up, I'll be sure to try them out. (...) By "one in front of the other" do you mean "back to back"? If you put 'em back to back, you can probably angle them as well--tilt them downward about 30 degrees and the curvature would be absolutely perfect. Can't wait to see the pictures!
