Schräge-Musik installations, unfortunately, ignored the
problem of falling bomber debris. :) And, of course,
if they were photocell-actuated (rocket-firing versions
were), your wingman could be in for a shock...

They look good--I did almost scream "Do-17" upon looking at
it, because the geometric differences of a He-219/319 from it
are hard to model. Those engines are extremely hard to do, but
it looks excellent.

The crosses on the wing look really good, and I like the
dark grey--it's very "night fightery." Tricycle landing gear are
notoriously hard, that's true--I expect that my attempt at a
He-162 is doomed to failure for that reason alone. Maybe if
I dip a brick in lead first...
Great job! I look forward to seeing more.

| (...) My thoughts exactly - after I was finished I realized it was a passable Dornier 17, especially with the canopy I used, and the upper wing profile. Oh well. (...) The Salamander would be a totally cool MOC, I'd love to see the photos. (...) (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

| Hi, I've put together my first WWII moc, a Heinkel He219 nightfighter (German). The He219 was a high-performance twin-engine fighter that debuted in 1943.
