Re: Pope's 7 site up and running

Good work Jamie! Your fighters are original in their design. I particularly liked the Tigerfish with its downward pointing wings. Keep us informed of any additions (enemy ships and bad guys). Alexander (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

(...) Shaun Thanks for explaining this new building technique. It wasn't 2x2 tiles as I thought so I guess I have to hurry up ordering white panels on Bricklink before they are sold out. Mattias (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Woah! Jamie, you got some awesome models there! Very creative stuff, and well designed too. I'm especially fond of your fighter type ships; tres cool. ;-D Hope to see a whole lot more from you! (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

  Re: Pz.VI TigerI Tank

(...) Thanks, Mattias! (...) I'm glad you liked this - it was one of my favorite parts of the overall appearance of the model. I didn't take any construction pictures, but I threw together some quick LDraw pictures to give you the idea: (URL) not (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Pope's 7 site up and running

(...) Hi there, Jamie, You've got some excellent models happening there, especially some of the bounty hunter ships. Colour schemes are on track and details are very yummy! Keep up the good work and let us know when you get more updates. Zac Soden (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space)

In lugnet.build.military, Shaun Sullivan writes: <snip> Thanks for that detailed answer. I knew about the technique for tread replacement (basically, drive off, fix it, then drive back on) and so understood why SOME treads would be carried (1) but (...)   Re: Pz.VI TigerI Tank

(...) Hi Larry, I'll let Lyndsay comment as well, but here's what I've found: It was possible to seriously damage treads to the point where they needed to be replaced - actually, this wasn't quite as intimidating a prospect as it sounds. The entire (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Pz.VI TigerI Tank

(...) Thanks for the kind words! I'd like to throw the compliment right back at you and bait you mercilessly, though: I've seen some lovely Russian tanks somewhere, yet they don't seem to have made it into the public arena yet? Aren't we doting (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Pz.VI TigerI Tank

(...) Another Masterpiece! - I must say I like it, Shaun! It is now a hard work for the 'Lugnet-judges' to compare the various Tiger tanks on the net. There are a number of features on your tank that I like and makes it a candidate for a top score. (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Pope's 7 site up and running

This is my first post as well as my first web page. It was an idea I had kicked around for a few years now and finally got it on the web. It's kinda a military/space theme. More stuff will be coming in a bit, just need to take some more pics. (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space) !
