Re: Fan Site focusing on Lego Military

(...) I agree and think that this would be a good idea. There are a lot of military model builders out there, but it is definitely rather quiet on the lugnet front. Inspiration and support for projects is important and adds to the hobby. I like what (...) (20 years ago, 13-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.gaming)

Re: Fan Site focusing on Lego Military

(...) This is an interesting idea. Perhaps a site that would work in concert with Lugnet and perhaps Bricks on the Brain/ In my Pocket for instruction database etc....Jake has always been very helpful and forthcoming with cementing community links (...)   Re: Fan Site focusing on Lego Military

(...) This would be great. The somewhat buried military forum on Lugnet and no deidcated gallery on Brickshelf make it difficult to keep up with the community. (20 years ago, 11-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.gaming)

new Bryce Rollins previews on Brickshelf

If you haven't already, check out Bryce's new postings on his Brickshelf gallery. He is previewing some Korean and Vietnam era jets. The F-105 Thud looks impressive in its Wild Weasel paint scheme. (URL) also looks to be revisiting some previous (...) (20 years ago, 11-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

Hi Christian I grew up on Indiana Jones movies so I have always had an interest in the pre and post 2nd World War era. But primarily I get a lot of satisfaction out of building a model of a vehicle that exists. Finding the images from books or the (...) (20 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

(...) Hello Chris I didn't know that you were into that era as well. Think that most of your other creations are more temporary. Any more coming? I like your helicopter, it goes really well sizewise with the vehicles. And thank you for the (...) (20 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

(...) Thanks for your comments Jan-Albert. There's nothing better for me as a builder than someone actually recognising the inspiration for a LEGO creation - that just made my day! As for a diorama? Yep, sounds like a good idea - I'll have to think (...) (20 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

(...) I absolutely LOVE this MOC, instantly recognized it. Hope to see more in the same style, perhaps a complete diorama? Keep on brickin' ! (20 years ago, 8-Apr-04, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

Forgot to mention the vehicles are built from Christian Lindblad Rasmussen's blueprints on his Adventurers website, with a few modifications/add-ons. (URL) Thanks Christian. Chris (20 years ago, 7-Apr-04, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.military)

  Flettner FL282 Kolibri

Hi everyone Here is my latest MOC, the Flettner FL282 Kolibri helicopter from the 1940's. I wanted a helicopter that fit with the "Adventurers" theme and I found the Kolibri on the internet under "1940's helicopter" - simple really. Apart from the (...)
