  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) No, yours is *great* the way it is! However, my approach to the problem of a lifting body is quite different. You may find it interesting, even if you don't use the ideas to improve your model. How's the mechanical strength of your Stealth (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

New Wallpaper- In light of today... Missing Man Formation

I don't know how you feel about this, but I did the one thing I can do well. And that is scenes like these. I made this Missing Man formation of three of my new "David" fighters in tribute to the lives lost at the WTC today. If you have comments (...)   New micro fig diorama...

This should of been posted a while ago, anyway... I thought I might post somethin' to take our minds away from the devestating incident that happened earlier today. :-( (even though it's not a particularily peaceful model :-o) Here ya go, the first (...)   Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

The most realistic Lego MOC i have seen, the smoothness helps a lot but the proportions and the angles are what makes it. Any chance of a DAT of it? I always feel that the people that can make models like this should be headunteed by Lego asap! Tim (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) A wonderfully done model. I don't think I could spout enough praise for this one. Just makes me feel inspired to do some MOC fighter jets for myself (though I deffinately don't have time at the moment to even think about it. Rich -- Have Fun! (...)   Re: HMAS Australia

(...) The slope is best estimate for now. The x and y measurements and proportions were taken from the overall dimensions of the ship, and a line drawn plan and elevation that seemed to suggest that the hull was essentially in three equi-length (...)   Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) Gee - isn't that like asking a magician to reveal all his tricks? j/k ;=) Actually the construction isn't terribly complicated - it just involved a lot of trial and error to arrive at it's final form. It's kind of hard to describe with words. (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) Well, I don't think being first means much - the reward is all in the execution of each model. I'll be interested to see what you come up with for your lifting bodies. I'm sure there will be some new ideas that will inspire me to improve my (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) Doh... true, it's not a Lockheed... ironically I was going to say an SR-71 blackbird, but then I figured you'd try to do that in the same scale, which would end up a monstrous over 100 studs long! And the U-2 spyplane just doesn't have the (...) (23 years ago, 11-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: MOC: Stealth Fighter Revealed

(...) Wow. Skunkworks would be proud (can't wait to see your rendition of the B-2 Stealth bomber ;). You really captured the faceted look of the F-117, and an especially brilliant job on the nose. Heck, I even like the scale! Mark W. (23 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)
