Experiments with simulated lighting. Sharp highlights from a full power BAR blast: (URL) sunlight glare (I've seen this look in NASA photos): (URL) is pretty much the limit of what I want to do with 8 year old PhotoShop software - a bit too labor (...) (...) The picture is intended to be a blur experiment as much as a cannon firing. I'm working on another picture that is exclusively for cannon firing and backblast lighting effects. As for only seeing Gundam Wing... GW is kind of low budget since (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I personally like the dark tone to it. But that's just an opinion. The darkness around the gundam draws your attention to the BAR which is quite bright and seeing as that is probably the obvious focal point that Brian would want, it works pretty (...) (...) I'm using version 2.01... It's pretty dusty, pulled down a menu and moths flew out of it. Amazed it still runs. Maybe a newer version can do the special effects I need with less labor. "K" (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(URL) more experimentation, simple directional blur on parts of the image conveys motion (left arm, top of gun, gun discharge). Still haven't figured out how to do realistic lighting effects without a real light source. "K" (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
