Re: New mech, PMC Kannon, hopefully a good day for mecha,

snip (...) Replying to my own post, (bad bad bad) but I also stole a few design ideas from a little unfinished gundam model I have, I dunno what it's called cuz it's all in japanese, but I got quite a few ideas from there.   Questions... (Warning: NEWBIE Alert.)

Hi, I'm Mark and I have been trying to build a mecha. Somehow my try doesn't look right. So I put my question to you Mecha-Experts. Are there any specific aspects that a Mecha should have? I mean, the 6949 Robo-Guardian and the four Roboforce models (...) (23 years ago, 8-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Assorted Mecha Studies

Hello all, Just wanted to point you to some mecha that I built recently. There are three models in all. My goal was to integrate as much posablilty as possible; posability that holds weight and is easy to articulate. You'll see what I mean when you (...) I really like them! The modified helldog looks really good! I like the head, it reminds me of a particular Gundam ummmm, can't remember what it's called, anyway good job. (...) I'd disagree simply because most kinds of mecha I want to build are not inspired by space anime (Macross, Gundam), but rather near future or fantasy anime (Patlabor, Gasaraki, Escaflowne, Xenogears). :) Jeff (23 years ago, 18-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.general)
