Dave, For what it's worth, I really like the color scheme. The sand green is probably one of my favorite Lego colors. I really like the head and the shoulders look pretty cool as well. (...) Thanks, Paul! The color scheme grew out of a need to build those shoulders since the curved half panels aren't available in Dark Grey. I wouldn't mind revisiting the model design with a different colorscheme, but at this point, the parts (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

All right, here goes: Colors: A little freaky at first, but you just can't go wrong with Sand Green. The light gray doesn't bother me at all. Design: Ehhh, not very impressed beyond the joints. Shoulders look flimsy. Do they hinge upwards? (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Dave, I've uploaded some pics of my pathetic MOC to Brickshelf with special attention the use of the tubes. I apologize ahead of time for the crappy pics.
