I guess can now update everyone on what has been happening lately. While
it's true that I am a mod of the Bionicle-Based Creations forum over at
BZPower, I've always considered my duties as the .build.mecha curator to be
my top priority. Have I been keeping up? Until last month, yes. I've updated
all relevant links THAT HAVE BEEN SENT TO ME as outdated. I canned the MoTW
until such time as I recieve enough candidates to continue holding it (I
only pick one entry so other spots are open). What else is there to update?
I really don't know. Right now, the only way I change the way the sidebar is
through the use of the highlight/spotlight feature-something I've been doing
all along. Please send me suggestions for future implementation and they
will be updated.
Regarding my absence from the net for almost a month, the reason is quite
simple: I could have become a widower two weeks ago. My wife had an upper
respiratory infection that nearly killed her. She is still recovering from
this life-changing event, and I still don't have it in me to leave her alone
for more than a couple of hours. In light of that event, all things
Lego-related had to find their way to the back burner. Not even my closest
friends were told what was going on-I wanted to keep it private. I'm still
planning to meet up with everyone at BricksWest next weekend if everything
is fine on this end. I'll have quite a few things to show off ranging from
mecha to space to sculpture-most of it never before made public.
Eric,
When there is a problem that you feel I need to look into, please contact me
via email or AIM-you have all that info at your fingertips. We'll talk face
to face next weekend, wife permitting.

| Dave, I wouldn't be human if I didn't understand. My heart goes out to you and your family. I breifly met your wife once, and my impression was that she is a sweetheart. Dave, aside from that, you could do simple things to avoid this kind of (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| i have not been around lugnet to really get involved in this matter, not to mention that the issue here seems to be between you and eric, so i will not put in my two cents. i only want say that i'm glad your wife is feeling better. i also have a (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
