| The original VF-1 Valkyrie toys were made by Takatoku toys back in the early 80's. Eventually, Bandai bought the rights from Takatoku and produced some of the later Valkyrie models (like stuff seen in Macross: Do You Remember Love?). After (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| (...) Hasbro simply licensed the toy from Bandai, if I remember correctly. The Bandi logo is visible in several places on the plastic. This was vaguely scandelous at the time, since Bandi was the primary manufacturer for the Go-Bots, the main (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| (...) the (...) Doh... I forgot to address this. "Robotech" in the US was an assimilation of three unrelated cartoons in Japan: Macross, Genesis Climber Mospaeda, and Orguss. | To All, (...) no (...) early (...) Hmm.. I was just looking through these two. If anyone remembers, they did have the Robotech cartoon on the air in Flint, Michigan for a year or so, and that was my first taste of Robotech. I also got several (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| (...) Speaking of licensing, a big reason why I dislike FASA (makers of Battletech) is their extreme misuse of designs that didn't belong to them...
