(...) impressed. In fact, I was so impressed that I gave up working on my own (I had started working on one just before you posted your first teaser pics) and since mine didn't look as good, I started working on a couple of other projects instead.      (...) NO MARK!!!! You should DEFINITELY give it a try. Doing the valkyrie has always been my "Holy Grail" project since I was a kid. If there's more people taking a stab at the project, the closer we get to a really good design. I'm still cringe at (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Heh... well, that's just it... I cringed because mine wasn't that good (and the bits that were good looked like I was copying yours -- I wanted to go back and redo it and make it look more original). And it was huge and unsturdy (I only had (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Lego Valkyrie v2.0 (progress shots) —Mladen Pejic
Wow! Your new Valkyrie model looks great! Definitely more leaner than your first Valkyrie. BTW how do the arms and legs in your first Valkyrie stand all that weight? It looks like you used a combination of click-hinges and technic joints to do that, (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Lego Valkyrie v2.0 (progress shots) —Sun Yun
(...) In regards to the arms and legs on the first valk; it doesn't handle weight well. I did my best to do what I could. I primarily used a combination of lite construction(most of the inner sections are hollowed) and a lot of click hinges. The arm (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
