I'd seen your earlier design when you first posted, and was thoroughly
impressed. In fact, I was so impressed that I gave up working on my own (I
had started working on one just before you posted your first teaser pics)
and since mine didn't look as good, I started working on a couple of other
projects instead. (one of them being the StarScream I did). Now that
StarScream's nearly done (and I've got builder's block again) I was going to
go back to the Valkyrie... but no so fast! Once again, you raise the bar...
the smaller design just looks even better (and amazingly, even more
accurate) than your first, and still looks capable of holding a minifig. To
top it all of it's all colour accurate, even the armour!

I should stick to Transforming trucks, I think =p

Great stuff. Can't wait to see the finished one either.

(...) NO MARK!!!! You should DEFINITELY give it a try. Doing the valkyrie has always been my "Holy Grail" project since I was a kid. If there's more people taking a stab at the project, the closer we get to a really good design. I'm still cringe at (...) (24 years ago, 15-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
