Heh... well, that's just it... I cringed because mine wasn't that good (and
the bits that were good looked like I was copying yours -- I wanted to go
back and redo it and make it look more original). And it was huge and
unsturdy (I only had the arms and part of the torso done anyway). I haven't
scrapped it altogether though... just got builder's block on how to improve it.

The Starscream was me wanting to be first at something! (Since you'd beaten
me to the punch at a VF-1). Hey, I'll go back and give it another go
eventually, I just wanted something 'easier' to take a break from
(Starscream, being a far less posable toy, is a much easier project to
undertake than your huge VF-1)

Well, don't we get to see them in Robot mode?! Pretty please!

Speaking of which: John, very ambitious... I think the newer veritech
fighters are much more complicated than the classic one... I'm impressed you
got the VF-19(? I can't quite remember if that's the designation for the
forward-swept wing one you did) transforming at all! Wish you could've
crammed in a minifig (but then, Joel Kuester's excellent jetfire didn't need
to either).
Sun's right though; the more the merrier! I'd like to see all the different
takes on this as well!
