Thanks for all kind words and suggestions folks!
I have moved the whole torso assembly back one stud and it works better for
sure, thanks for the heads-up Soren! Also many thanks for the list of links, not
seen GEARS before and there are some awesome reference pics up there. I hear you
about the hip area, it has had me baffled from the offset of the build. I wanted
skirt armour but couldnt find anything that looked clean enough, ah well back
to the drawing board I guess!
Chris - The hip area is done using piece #48172 (Black Technic Brick 2 x 2 with
Holes and Two Rotation Joint Sockets) it makes for a very compact hip joint
(about 6 studs wide with legs attached), and it is only 2 studs high.
When Ive made a few more changes and additions Ill post up a more
comprehensive set of photos...

| Looking good - not really saying ZZ to me, but that's just fine, because I hate the ZZ Gundam :). I do have a short list of criticisms and suggestions: Chest: I think moving the whole torso back about a stud on the hip assembly would make it seem (...) (19 years ago, 5-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
