Looking good - not really saying ZZ to me, but that’s just fine, because I hate
the ZZ Gundam :).
I do have a short list of criticisms and suggestions:
Chest: I think moving the whole torso back about a stud on the hip assembly
would make it seem less stooped - more “I work out like a maniac and can
benchpress a battleship” than the current “Nobody loves me, I think I’ll slit my
wrist cables” posture. YMMV of course, but that’s what I see.
Hips: I like where this bit is going, but I think skirt armor would also help
with that stooping effect and keep the torso from seeming overbuilt in
comparison to the rest. And, you can stick all sorts of fun stuff on skirt
armor, like beam saber racks and
extra arms.
Come to think of it, it looks like you could fit Hazel’s
multi-weapon latch in
there. That’d be a hit.
As far as backpack suggestions go, I’ve always liked
this one.
Weapons I have no brilliant ideas for, except to suggest that you poke around on
MAHQ and GEARS and
see what you like. GEARS has some really nice stuff under
Tyrant Sword and
Sentinel.
Now that I think about it, a
Beam Smartgun
with some kind of support frame would look great.

| Thanks for all kind words and suggestions folks! I have moved the whole torso assembly back one stud and it works better for sure, thanks for the heads-up Soren! Also many thanks for the list of links, not seen GEARS before and there are some (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| Hi all, Just thought I'd post a WIP of my latest Mecha. Its been a while since I've built anything and I have now got a pretty good storage system for my bricks, so it was a joy building this.
