So I've been working on various wormgear combinations over the past week or so, and I came up with something that might be of use to folks: (URL) like the technic geared turntables, but they are a bit big. So I thought it would be nice to have a (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

(...) Great Job! But I had trouble with the top. There appear to be four 4 x 4 plates that fit over the small turntable and are wedged against the axle so as to form a surface that spins with the axle. When I try this, the plates do not fit. (...) Ah, yes ... now I can see the spaces in between the bricks. In the future, I would ask that you use a different color than black for your examples. (...) The frame is, for the time being, only half done. I was somewhat inspired by your "goliath" to try to make a small worm gear driven frame. It really is quite a rewarding challenge to build with worm gears, and I think the time is ripe for an (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
