  Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

(...) Hi Danny. (...) I see what you mean but I wanted to have an insectoid touch to the face. And second I think the head would get too wide if the eyes faced more forward. (...) Special thanks for this one. Doing a MOC page is lot of work (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

Hi, About the mecha, I concur with Eric, that the greebling really shows off this mecha. Though I have to be honest, there is something about the face which seems off - I think the eyes could be a little more forward facing. It is also really worth (...)   Re: New MOC: Goliath

(...) The head was build one afternoon, it's the only part that's still left from the first upper body version. It never was reworked or changed afterwards. (...) Well, in fact I had problems with the arms. Early realised that humanoid arms would (...) (19 years ago, 11-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  MC7 ZRX1 "02" Pictures * Informational Post Only *

Last night I was a guest on the FJSradio.com online talk show. When I got back home I was checking through some data disks and found some unpublished pictures of the ZRX1 "02" Display Frame ((URL) inspired by Greg Muri>). So I had some fun in (...)   Re: Nwe MOC: Goliath

Amazing! There is so much to say about this build. Where do I start? The Head: Wow, talk about grills! The shape of the back of the head is cool and you hinged the dishes for the eyes! I like it. Only a face a mother or Mecha builders would love! (...) (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) wow. that's a nicely done greeble-bot! Jeff (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: Talon

Ooh - snakes head? that would be an interesting mecha, maybe you could still pursue building one with that goal in mind. Maybe taking on board some of Bryce's techniques with the Rack might get the right look for a snake... I know exactly how (...) (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Nwe MOC: Goliath

After my longest building period for one MOC I proudly present: (2 URLs) Goliath> Goliath He's abaout 19" tall and has a weight of 1767g. See more details (URL) here>. PLMKWYT (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Re: Delta - another infantry support bot

(...) In my opinion, the binary load lifter looks an awful lot like in AT-ST but with a little modification. Imagine adding a set of arms towards the upper rear portion of the scout walker's head. The hands of these arms would look kinda like giant (...) (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mecha: Talon

(...) Those are supposed to be the sensor domes that are linked to a sophisticated targeting system. (...) As I said to Eric, I was really trying to fuse two mecha styles in to one when I made this one. I was originally going for a more reptilian (...) (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mecha: Talon

Nice. The Bley/Grey look works well on a mech. It gives it that metallic utilitarian look. This mech says it means business - and is design for close range destruction (with the large heavy weight arms - good for smashing), while having serious (...)   Re: New Mecha: Talon

(...) -snip- (...) I wanted to mention. I need another 10 Technic Turntables for my current robotics project. Aside from that, I'm not sure I'll be making any 3 foot Mecha for a while at least. For now, it is still a challange to build on a medium (...) (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Mech Bay 09 - The Cub Den

(...) Mitsubishi made one in 1945 I'm told. ;) (...) I think there are some cool building techniques on the middle levels of the Mech Bay. I'll snap some pics of that. I also owe people some shots of the Cub's ankles. Now I'm taking a break from (...) (19 years ago, 10-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: New Mecha: Talon

(...) Thanks, Marco I'm glad you liked the ladder system. I had seen something akin to it done on one of Brian cooper's mecha, and thought it would be a nice detail. I'm steadily putting more detail into my work. Talon isn't a very large mecha, only (...) (19 years ago, 9-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Delta - another infantry support bot

(...) Hello Jon, as far as I can remember the AT-PT is piloted, which delta isn't. I can't picture the Load Lifter Droid. Delta was born out of the pieces. I had those parts I thought they would give a good upper leg. That's how it started. (...) (...) (19 years ago, 9-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Mech Bay 09 - The Cub Den

(...) Hi Eric, I like the overall industrial look. I can imagine a mech support facility could look like your new bay. Well done! Could you publish some more detail pics, please. You may already know, I like to borrow ideas. Sommetimes this helps me (...) (19 years ago, 9-Dec-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)
