How many is too much I ask, well I plan on making a total of 15 weapons that can be held by pretty much any mecha with mini-fig legs for fingers...included in that package will be some design such as(my favorite up close)a dual laser beam scythe, a (...) I have created an unarmed minifig scale mech. The legs are the same as those on the J-27 Hoptite. It has a grasping arm and a laser cutter/drill arm and tool packs attached at the legs. Finally someone who sees my point of view! The only problem with and an anthropoid or even semi-anthropoid is that is might be a little top heavy, oh well... To tell you the truth, the only things I go by when I'm building 4+ legged "beasts" is the shape of the bricks and how they interact with each other to form cool joints and shapes (a good example is my "Gorilla"). After being aware of the quality and originality of design of SF3D models (and others) for a while I have begun to compile a list of some of my favorite eyecandy. Actually, there are very few Gundam that transform. Offhand, I can only think of a few... -Wing/Wing0 -Epyon -Zeta/DoubleZeta maybe a couple others. The bright colors are a bit Power-Rangerish, however. That's why I usually paint my Gundam models in (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Seems to me that the only craft that are heavily ornamental would be the super powerful mobile suits, say for instance the Gundams or Tallgeese (sheesh...did I spell that right?).
