  Re: Exo-Stormtrooper Unit

Pretty neat, The whole minifig fits in there? I didn't realize that, wow. I figured it was just the head stuck on top. Any more pics besides the front? I'm mostly interested in seeing this beast from the side and back to see what you did exacty. Big (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

Side Bar looks great, I'm banished to .fabuland for a day

So I took some more lumps for the group. Even with the best of intentions I get out of hand a bit and so with my appologies to the community and the curator my punishment is that I have been banished to .fabuland for a period of no less than 24 (...) Whoa! Very Neat. Super Deformed Shinning Shimmering Master Ranger Mecha Master. The whole fig fits in there? That's cool. I like the arms alot and I really don't have any critiques because I thinks its neat just like it is. cool. e (URL) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Exo-Stormtrooper Unit

After the failure of the autonomous Darktrooper units the Empire realized human piloted Exo-units were more effective.   Re: You should all read this (was Re: We need a new curator)

I'm going to put my 2 cents here. IMO Mark N's comments here, Mark N's comments there, and Brian Cooper's comments there are all valid in some ways. My own thought is that yes, this forum lacks any sort of real discussion, period. It's part of why I (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: DARK KNIGHTS OF DOOM-minimecha

(...) I am Yutaka Minowa's Biggest fan! He makes the coolest stuff the Gorum suit (URL) is the very definition of an exo suit. This exo suit looks just like spike's from transformers the movie (URL) his astronaut suit shows his true genuis (2 URLs) (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: DARK KNIGHTS OF DOOM-minimecha

(...) That's pretty sweet, but check out the articulation on this little guy by the same builder. (URL) I was just searching through Brickshelf for another one I saw last week that I instantly fell in love with. It turns out to be another one of (...) (...) Hmmm, I tihnk I've just found my next project. I was going to try a motorised kangaroo mech, but this sounds easier. (...) Ho yes!   Re: Debut MOCs: Landmate Frenzy

(...) Thanks! I thought the minigun was a bit ridiculous, but it was too much fun to leave out of the weapons selection. (...) You got it! She's on my long, long custom minifig list. Of course, I gotta have Briareos if I have her, and I'm not nearly (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MOC: Articualted Power Exosuit.

Jeesh, got to catch up... Not much I can add to this, but here's my two bricks worth anyway: Imagine this in yellow, be an awesome worker mech. Especially looking like a gorilla, it'd be great. If I were to do the construction method on this guy, (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Debut MOCs: Landmate Frenzy

That's pretty nifty Soren. My fave is the minigun, a little oversized but nice since it seems your going after a slightly comic book look. Which are plusses BTW, Masmune Shiro is an inspiration I take it? Where's Knute? Good use of droid bits (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) This is true to a degree, but constructive criticism is a part of it to some extent. I had been building mecha for about 8 months when someone told me that my proportions were wrong.   Re: Debut MOCs: Landmate Frenzy

(...) For this one I was trying to evoke an industrial sort of feel. I agree, the arms are weird looking, but it's part of the design. It doesn't carry any armor, and I tried a little too hard to show that. I'll consider adding more tan, but most of (...) (22 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  DARK KNIGHTS OF DOOM-minimecha

I got really excited when I saw this: (URL) are fantastic! Nearly minifig-sized, armored to the hilt, these are just great examples of how parts can be shaped into whatever their creator wants them to be. Yutaka Minowa, if you are out there and able (...)
