  We need a new curator

Our side bar is stagnant. Our Curator is MIA. We need a new Cuator. Someone who gives Two Bricks about making this place fun. * I make a motion to revoke the current curator. Do I have a second? * Privately I have been asking around to see who would (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  MOC - Autobot Bitstream

Hey all, Finally, I have something new in the way of mecha :) For some reason, I'm on a huge Transformers kick lately. I've been seeing all of these cool Lego renditions, but it's been so long since one of them actually *transformed*; I figured I'd (...)   Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab

Ahahahah! That's great! I love the use of the solid colored LOM canopies as claws. That's inspired. It makes me want to build something new before BricksWest. But then, I don't think that's going to happen, I'm too busy being addicted to Morrowind. (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Debut MOCs: Landmate Frenzy

(...) I've got some old pics on my drive. I'll e-mail them to you if you like. I personally prefer the new high-capacity missile racks, and I wanted to keep the pics consistent. Sorry 'bout that.   Re: BricksWest Promo Flyer in the Lego Club Magazine

(...) Na... Mundanes is a much more generic term since it's used in both Hard SF and fantasy, and predates Rowling by at least 10, possibly 20, years... :-) (URL) bunches of other possible references found by googling using "mundanes SF term" as the (...)   Re: BricksWest Promo Flyer in the Lego Club Magazine

(...) All true... I was talking about the mundanes though! (we know the LEGO model builders (both set designers and the model builders) like stuff they can't necessarily put into sets) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: BricksWest Promo Flyer in the Lego Club Magazine

(...) Well, actually, while it IS great exposure, I think the Lego guys know quite a bit about it. I mean, look at the Alternate models for alot of the starwars sets and stuff.   Re: BricksWest Promo Flyer in the Lego Club Magazine

(...) This rocks... While we in the online community know of the neat stuff the .mecha gang does, mecha are definitely underexposed (and possibly underappreciated) out in the wide world. So this exposure is good news. (22 years ago, 4-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: BricksWest Promo Flyer in the Lego Club Magazine

(...) Yep! Since Eric and Cindy documented the Pavilion so well, the designers at LEGO asked to use those pictures. Since they showed so many of the mecha, as well as the great crowd interaction with Eric and the kids (including when they were (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
