  Re: Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

(...) Thanks! <snip> (...) Turned out pretty good. The thing that gets me is that even though this mech is really big, the frontal area is actually pretty small. It's from the side or above that DW presents it's mass. (...) Hear Hear! Time for more (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

(...) Wow. I think Tony needs to reclassify the categories to 12 inches and lower because the big mechs are REALLY BIG. :) Nice job, btw, it reminds me of one of the baddies in Einhander. (...) Most definitely. (...) Wow. Very very cool. This is my (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

(...) DW is about 15" tall and somwhere in the neighborhood of 2' long. (nose to tail) DW is easily my largest mech yet, though Titan was just barely taller. The Legs are mostly static, with a double worm gear setup in the hip to allow for angling (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct Entry: Row-bot

(...) See? That's how useless he is! He can't even row in the right direction! ;) (...) Thanks. I wasn't in the right frame of mine for the lame parts contest at the time, so I did this little guy instead. :) -Anne -- Hacker Barbie! Complete with (...)   Re: Mechastruct Entry: Row-bot

(...) Hah! He's sitting backwards though, unless he's built to row in the opposite direction of humans (which is entirely possible) Nifty. Adrian -- (URL) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mechastruct Entry: Row-bot

Hi all, Tony, I think this goes in the useless mech category. :) (URL) can't dance, but he sure can row. -Anne (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct entry: LT-100 Hurricane

Hi Tony, Yeah, I finally did get him done :) I can't think of an interesting story though. I did include a photo of the frame that he's built on off the page: However, all the information on building and his functionality are here: (URL) you want to (...) Foam hands? Really. *slaps forehead* I have seen that soccer set and it never occured to me to use those in mech. I posted the disco dynamo just now. Thanks for entering! out (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct entry: LT-100 Hurricane

Anne! Great, you got it done! I hope you show everybody the skeleton too. It is interesting how you built the body and the joints. I haven't post this yet on the site, but take your time. Awesome work! out (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

Mark That is quite large! How tall is it? I assume it is primarily worm gears for the joints right? Wow. I love the detail in the head. Also the powerplant section is really quite nice. Not alot of people go to the trouble to add powerplants. I will (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Mechastruct entry, Dragonwolf

Here she is folks, Dragonwolf: (URL) should probably be in the military 8" and taller category. ***...***story***...*** "Hitman, stand by."   Re: Mechastruct entry: LT-100 Hurricane

(...) No, I'm not pulling your legs. I'm amazed I actually pulled this one off. My second one is for the useless mech contest--a row bot. :) No, I'm not kidding. I'll have that one and the LT-100 Hurricane Trooper up tomorrow. -Anne (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Starscream, Prime and Megatron Preview

i've heard a lot of talk about how transformers HAVE TO transform. to be honest, i haven't seen a single transformer(c) robot actually look all that great (remember how megatron [gen.1] looked as a robot? those really thin legs, etc. and what about (...) (...) Whooo hooo some feedback! LOL! ;) (...) That would be a plus, but then the kitty box.... (...) Cool, one thing about building Mech is the hands are ussually tough to do in an original way.   Re: Starscream, Prime and Megatron Preview

As I said, I won't hold my breath. Getting TLC interested is a long shot, but it's the only way these will ever be available as kits. I've looked into trying to produce them independently, and obtaining the parts is not even practical. Whether TLC (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
