Re: Mechastruct Contest Begins October 7th!

Hey Frank! You do raise an important question. You could the fictional battle scene, or you can give some specs that have already been created for that mech and it's backstory that the game gives. Either way will work, it upp to you out (...) (22 years ago, 6-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: robotroids - C 1984 "transforming" KOs.

Hello, John. (...) Of course, you know, those were not related with LEGO. Now we can build more cool machine-mechs by LEGO, maybe. :-) Don't you think so ? > MECH-GUYS (22 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.mecha)

  robotroids - C 1984 "transforming" KOs.

I saw these on a transformer seller's site. text: These are fairly rare Pre-Transformers. These are toys by Takara that came out in the U.S. in 1984. They're made in Japan and are a cross between Transformers and Legos. They come with engines and (...) (22 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Grabber Cargo System

(...) Neat! It's not often that support craft are made, and I like what you came up with! It just makes so much sense as an idea...:) Joe Meno (22 years ago, 5-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Grabber Cargo System

Very innovative Jeremy...I love the concept of galactic shipping. It combines the fun of trucks/trains into the fantasy of space. Amazing job...such a versatile design. I could really see how this could be implemented with a shipping system of (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Humanesque Mecha Designs

Hmmm, well if you don't mind reverse knees here two small ones that don't have bionicle in them. And converting them to a human style knee would be pretty easy. Beast is more playable than Orc. Both are pretty durable though. One hint though, you'll (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Grabber Cargo System

Hey, that's quite clever. I may have to try that sometime. And the legs on the bot are just neato. It's soo squat looking, and it actaully looks good in yellow *gasp*. (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Grabber Cargo System

Howdy, I put up some pics of a cargo system I came up with... (URL) cargo system has the benefit of a locking connector system -- when the grabber has grasped a cargo box, it won't be letting go. But when you want it to release, it pops out quite (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: Humanesque Mecha Designs

(...) Well, you might check out my site: (URL) but in particular: (URL) particular model is fairly playable, and seems to meet your size requirements. However, it uses the throwbots/bionicle ball joints for the hips. Thanks, Ben Vaughan (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
