What browser are you using? Some of my style sheets are not recognized by
older browsers. Sorry for any problems.

Offical Contest Rules +++++++

General Contest Rules
1. Each contestant may enter as many mechs/mecha as they desire into any
catagory they desire. Each single mech/mecha will qualify for only one (1)
catagory.
2. Each mech/mecha entered (entry or entries) must fit within the catagory
specification to qualify for a chance to win.
3. Each entry must be constructed and entered into the contest between
October 7th and December 31st 2002. Any entries built before and/or after
October 7th and December 31st 2002 will not qualify for the contest.
4. Between January 1st and January 14th 2003 the voting polls will be open
to anyone who wishes to vote. The winners of each catagory will be announced
shortly after January 14th 2003.
5. The winners of each catagory will receive one (1) Wal-Mart gift card
valued at $5.00 each via mail. The gift cards will be mailed individually
after each winner has provided a valid home or mailing address.

Required Procedures to Qualify as a Contestant
1. Entries must be clearly posted in lugnet.build.mecha under the heading
Mechastruct Entry: (MOC title). OR e-mail directly to Tony Knaak at
tknaaker@hotmail.com.
2. Posts or e-mails must include a link to either a Brickshelf gallery OR
website that displays the mech/mecha images.
3. Each entry must have at least five (5) photographs and/or computer
rendered images clearly displaying the entire creation. You are allowed to
have as many photographs and/or computer rendered images as you desire after
five (5).
4. Entries must include a backstory to familarize the voters with the
creation. No limitations will be put on the size or content of the story,
but please keep the language appropriate. *Rules Update If your creation is
modeled directly off a pre-existing mech/mecha with a backstory already
formed, you may; 1. Write a fictional battle scene story with your
mech/mecha in it. OR 2. Provide the original backstory of the mech/mecha
made by the creators.*
5. Any Military theme mechs/mecha under eight (8) inches tall will be
grouped in catagory number one (1).
6. Any Military theme mechs/mecha over eight (8) inches tall will be grouped
in catagory number two (2).
7. Any Non-Military theme mechs/mecha under eight (8) inches tall will be
grouped in catagory number three (3).
8. Any Non-Military theme mechs/mecha over eight (8) inches tall will be
grouped in catagory number four (4).
9. I Gots Da Biggest Gun Sucka entries must be able to support the entire
weight of the gun anywhere on the mech/mecha frame without external support.
10. An entry must stand on two (2) or more legs to be qualified as a mech/mecha.
