  Re: My top 10

(...) We aren't upset at you for this, Jacob. We respect that you have such a list....I have one as well. I choose to post mine on my website rather than leave it out in the open (as you have done) for everyone to scrutinize. (...) I can't disagree (...)   Re: My top 10

(...) Hi Jacob - Don't feel bad that you made that post. Its not your problem if people got offended by your opinion. I hope you keep posting your opinions and praise of others' work on LUGNET and don't get discouraged because of this incident. I (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

I was never Trying to offend or upset anyone with my choices, I knew full well that this topic would do just that to some people so at first I was going to have a top 20. I then realized that would cause an even bigger upset so I bumped it down to (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Foundry DX Update . . . More harmless mecha!

Wow. This picture is simply stunning: (URL) very nice job! And the new wallpapers are sweet too! I have allready added the grey one to my collection. Sometime you should make sure to make at least one for each mecha. :-) (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New MOC: CFP Battle Armor

Hi all, Hot on the heels of my Erghiez is the CFP Battle Armor[1]. (URL) small battlesuit made of 5 distinct parts (torso/arms, feet x2, arm controllers x2). The soldier who dons this suit cannot wear a helmet, unfortunately, due to the Battle Droid (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

(...) I completely agree. I like all the stuff on his list, and slamming him for liking those models over other stuff out there, is like getting on someone for liking Hershey bars, but not Caramello (Hey, they're both candy , right?) I have my (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

(...) Neither was I. Heck, I don't build mecha and I don't go ga-ga over em either (except in the areas of good engineering with the brick) Oh well. :-) (...) Yep, I agree as well. (...) His list was totally appropriate. Note he prefaced it with (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha) !

  Re: My top 10

(...) I wasn't gonna reply to this thread but oh well. I agree with Mark and Jeff. He is probably new and didn't mean any harm or to cause a situation. I bet we've probably scared him off from ever posting again which is unfortunate. I don't think (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Foundry DX Update . . . More harmless mecha!

(...) I remember first seeing the Evangelion toys, and thinking "Wow, how cool are these? I wonderif one could be built out of Lego..." Wel, I must say, I had my doubts, but you have pulled it off quite well! I was impressed to see you captured some (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

(...) I think, from looking at Jacob's list, that he prefers Gundam-style mecha. Your stuff is sort of big and biomechanical-looking, but definitely not Gundam. :^) Don't sweat it. I haven't built a new mecha in about 5 months, and I've fallen (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Foundry DX Update . . . More harmless mecha!

Sun, The EVA is fannnntastic! Really, really nice. The scale is perfect, the execution deceptively simple. It has just the right amount of shaping and articulation to make it 'realistic' (in the sense that it evokes the original design) and fun to (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

Hey Jeff, I gotta say I do understand what you are saying, but I think the fact remains that Bryce has been around alot longer and he just probably thought the list did'nt make sense to him. That's all, no biggie. Truth is I felt a little left out (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: I'm Back!

====Eric (...) ====Well thank you that's nice of you to say. I made these lil' bots to help me clean up. I do however build the Mechs myself over a long period of time. I try to work on my project everyday, a little at a time. Staying up late and (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

(...) I agree with Jeff here. I think Jacob was just posting his OWN PERSONAL favorites. He's allowed to have favorites, and he just wanted to share his favorites with us. No need to flame the poor kid. If someone is disappointed they didn't show up (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My top 10

(...) Jeez, he posts an opinion, and gets attacked for it. I find that really sad. He wasn't trying to "narrow the talent" or any such thing, he was posting what his favorite mecha creations were. Never once did he say he didn't like any mecha that (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
