yes folks the Legomaster is back! Thank you for all the kind compliments on
the GG Mech:

http://www.mylegomaster.com/id23.htm

I could hardly add anything to all the praise that's already been heaped
upon this monster (and deservedly so), but I'm frightened to imagine the
amount of work involved, and that that much work could all come out of one
guy.  I'm betting you've got a workshop full of elves hidden away somewhere
that you're not telling the rest of us about.

I am so looking forward to seeing all the motorized bits in action at
BricksWest, I can't even tell you.

And I have to add, the use of the dino tails for claws is beautiful.

Also, this nonsense that Frank talked about Mecha and Brickshelf, look I see
the same content on Brickshelf same as you Frank. We do not dominate
Brickshelf so I don't know what you talking about, also keep to the avatar
issue, don't make us feel bad. At least WE know why we make Mecha. Just keep
making your little Pirate vessels and play on the floor with your Brickwars.

Hey!  I hope you're not trying to say there's something wrong with playing
Brikwars!*

But seriously:

There ain't nothing significant was ever accomplished that didn't offend
somebody.  You (and all the mecha crowd with you) should be patting your
collective selves on the back; the stuff you're doing is making enough of a
difference that somebody feels like it's worth their time to complain about.
That's no small feat, and nothing to be ashamed of.

Again I'm busy building while your in some obscure corner of a chat domain
complaining while building nothing of comendation.

Lastly did'nt your Mom tell you if you have nothing nice to say, don't say
it at all?!!!!

The way my mom always told it, "if you don't have anything nice to say,
don't bother saying anything nice."  But that may not have been the best advice.

Lugnetters have always been way too thin-skinned for my tastes, but for
god's sake, a guy ought to be able to express an unpopular opinion in
off-topic.debate without taking personal flames in the on-topic forums.

I for one don't feel particularly threatened if Frank finds mecha
unattractive.  I have often wished lugnet was a friendly enough place that
people were allowed to not like things.

- Mike.

* - Just to stave off possible future argument, I will concede the point:
yes, there is almost certainly something wrong with anybody who plays BrikWars.
