yes folks the Legomaster is back! Thank you for all the kind compliments on
the GG Mech:

I could hardly add anything to all the praise that's already been heaped
upon this monster (and deservedly so), but I'm frightened to imagine the
amount of work involved, and that that much work could all come out of one
guy.  I'm betting you've got a workshop full of elves hidden away somewhere
that you're not telling the rest of us about.

====Well thank you that's nice of you to say. I made these lil' bots to help
me clean up. I do however build the Mechs myself over a long period of time.
I try to work on my project everyday, a little at a time. Staying up late
and generally bringing myself to the brink of insanity. Thank goodness for
all of you guys, my saviours, vindicators, facilitators.

I am so looking forward to seeing all the motorized bits in action at
BricksWest, I can't even tell you.

====Cool, I plan to have a great time. Which reminds me, I better start
programming the Super-Mech bot to do interesting things, or it'll end up
being a static sculpture!

And I have to add, the use of the dino tails for claws is beautiful.

====Thanks I really like them too! It's really different huh!

Also, this nonsense that Frank talked about Mecha and Brickshelf, look I see
the same content on Brickshelf same as you Frank. We do not dominate
Brickshelf so I don't know what you talking about, also keep to the avatar
issue, don't make us feel bad. At least WE know why we make Mecha. Just keep
making your little Pirate vessels and play on the floor with your Brickwars.

====I probably should have kept my thoughts to myself. I can't take issue
with everyone, mostly I just like to build! :)

Hey!  I hope you're not trying to say there's something wrong with playing
Brikwars!*

====Ooops sorry, I remember from your Brickshelf pix you had a great set up
for that game!

But seriously:

There ain't nothing significant was ever accomplished that didn't offend
somebody.  You (and all the mecha crowd with you) should be patting your
collective selves on the back; the stuff you're doing is making enough of a
difference that somebody feels like it's worth their time to complain about.
That's no small feat, and nothing to be ashamed of.

====True. Funny thing is I kinda liked Frank and I thought about this and I
for some reason took issue, fact is his post was in off-topic debate and he
has a right to express himself. I found his remarks to be negative toward
our group and I just felt like saying something. Being friends is more
important to me. I think we can all find something interesting about each
others building styles if we just take the time to look.

Again I'm busy building while your in some obscure corner of a chat domain
complaining while building nothing of comendation.

Lastly did'nt your Mom tell you if you have nothing nice to say, don't say
it at all?!!!!

The way my mom always told it, "if you don't have anything nice to say,
don't bother saying anything nice."  But that may not have been the best advice.

====again I was just ranting. I love Mecha!

Lugnetters have always been way too thin-skinned for my tastes, but for
god's sake, a guy ought to be able to express an unpopular opinion in
off-topic.debate without taking personal flames in the on-topic forums.

====True, I too felt some people just go off on these tangents and debates.
Just sit down and build and respect thy neighbor. This comment was pointed
out to me and, I don't know...I just did'nt like it. To each his own.

I for one don't feel particularly threatened if Frank finds mecha
unattractive.  I have often wished lugnet was a friendly enough place that
people were allowed to not like things.

====Good point. We all feel differently about certain topics. On he other
hand maybe he did'nt think his comment thru, it was bound to bother some of
us here.
I showed bad form by engaing in a tit-for-tat type of "just build your
pirate ships and paly brickwars" I strive to attatin high goals then to act
like that. It was a little imature, but like I said I felt he dissed our group.
Your right for pointing this stuff out. It's all good.

- Mike.

* - Just to stave off possible future argument, I will concede the point:
yes, there is almost certainly something wrong with anybody who plays BrikWars.

====LOL!!!! And anyone who builds a Mech for 6 months like me!!!! Oh the
insanity!!!!
