Say, is there a good guide around anywhere to mech terminology, especially weapon types? One of the notations I've seen a lot of, for instance, is "SRM##", where the ##'s seem to be the count of rockets (i.e., SRM8 or SRM20). At this point, I can (...) <ramble> The first anime based show I remember watching was Star Blazers/Battleship Yamato (Though I don't remember mecha, per se.) Later I discovered Robotech and devoured every episode. Robotech, man! :-, Then Go-Bots and Transformers (blech now), and Battletech later, though since early Battletech stole mucho from Robotech (which in turn stole mucho from Macross and Mospeda) I feel I can't really count that.
