You got it all wrong. An MAP is only one specific mecha, it is not a class. In the anime movie _Appleseed_ Shirow Masumane made a whole new class of mecha called mobile platforms. I'm not familiar with too many mechs from show, RPGs etc. It sort of reminds me of the Ice Spider Tanks from War Planets/Shadow Raiders. A CGI cartoon (...) (...) If you want a real beam of light, i know of thin neon tubes that might fit the bill. They sell them for radio controlled cars and are powered by a 9v battery. it should be the appropriate size for your gundam and cast a nice glow to the (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Yeah, the "thorax" is where all the legs are connected. The turret is also connected to this place. Anyways, I probably shouldn't use terms like "thorax", but I don't know any other good name for that area. ;-) Maybe turret base, or leg connection (...)
