Hello, all. I just finished building my first mech. It's nothing to hoot about, but I personaly think it's a pretty good start. Thanks for the addresses. I'll have to go check those out as soon as I have a chance to, I just got addicted to and online game so I haven't had much time for legos =(. (...) I'd call these origami mechs. Small, intricate, beautiful. There was one mech where a SW Battle Droid body was used as part of head, very clever parts use. I've been link-jumping through what pages i could, and didn't find much that came close to that first page, although this page has a few similar designs: (URL) its crazy to think how much great design we haven't seen, even with brickshelf. Wow. Mind boggling, it is. Though it makes you wonder what kind of connections those Japanese people have, if this is the kind of web sites they make.
