I've found Colin Gutierrez's page to be of great value in building hip joints. (URL) I think the head is the most difficult. I like Heavy Gear, because it has very utilitarian designs, like real military vehicles and mecha will look like in the "near future". WOW! Without a doubt this is one of the best mecha I have ever seen, Mark. Simply fantastic! The legs are IMO the best, best Gundam legs I have ever, ever seen. Your use of parts is extraordinary. You did a really good job at bulking up those thro bot pieces! Ive been wrestling with this one for a while for various creations. Nice mecha! However, why does the "Emu" have such large legs, and yet has such a small upper "body"? After recently aquiring several 2x1 two-hole and 1x1 beam bricks from LEGO S@H, as well as several 1x4 grill mounting plates and 3' friction pins, I've developed a new technique for adding badly needed "studded bulk" to the throwbot limbs in my (...) (URL) This is a VERY crude render. This is actually the best quality and resolution my computer can do before Pov crashes. I do all my rendering at my friends house. Thanks Jay! Regarding the smiley face, yes I too at first hesitated but then said "What the heck, I have a sick sense of humour!"
