Re: Drake MkIV - final refinement and backstory

(...) Marco, This thing is an absolute beast! It looks like it could take some serious punishment, so much so, that I think it should be classified as a heavy mech at the very least. I know you said this is the final refinement, but it looks to me (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Teknomeka Instructions

Do the instructions come with just one set skin pattern or is there a selection? I fell in love with the Classic Gundame look and I'd love to be able to recreate it. (19 years ago, 29-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: T.A.U.

(...) Thanks Marco, I included the shot in question so that others could see my solution to getting the legs to be 120 degrees from each other. Once I figured it out, the simplicity of it was astounding. Don't be too suprised if you see another (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  War Of The Worlds MOCs

I have been lurking, and occasionally commenting for some time on mecha, without posting any mecha of my own (more stuff usually on lugnet.robotics). Anyway - this week I opened my Titan XP kit - and before I even built any of the instructed models (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) No apology is needed. I am glad you were able to use the idea. Eric and I had worked on the frame together to improve it. When I built the original, it had its flaws but served its purpose as a frame to build over. Eric mentioned some ideas (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) Thanks, Mladen. The way I used those dishes was inspired to a degree by some of your designs to be honest. (...) Yeah, they're about 50% too big, and I realized that during the final stages of building, but I wanted them to be strong enough to (...)   Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) Thanks, Marcus. I'm sorry about the confusion on my part. Anyway, your ankle design is one of the most innovative construction methods I've seen in this forum. I can see it catching on like wildfire, Thanks again. Later, Todd (19 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) Wonderful mecha Todd! I especially like how the colour scheme and repeated 6x6 dishes unify the whole. You achieved excellent harmony with this one. I also like the gun. :-D The hands, although ostensibly sturdy, are out of proportion with the (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) I agree with Bryce..this mech has a very clean look to it. The color scheme also looks great. I am glad to see that you were able use an idea from the frame I designed. Eric gets credit for the spine and the hands and we worked together on the (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) Hi Todd, this is the first creation I see where gray and blay are mix, and don't look totally displaced. You managed to mix them in a way making them match in most cases. Especially the rifle is really good looking. I appreciate the dismantled (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: T.A.U.

Hello Jon, I like the approach of a tripedal. It's not seen that often. The color scheme is perfect. Special thanks for (URL) this shot>! Now to the criticism. On the MOC I've none. (...) Thanks Kyle, I had a lot of fun trying how poseable Shiko is. (...) I've a new camera. And I'm not yet really used to it.   "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

Check out the "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha- (URL) at 14.5 inches tall, the Traikon is my first mecha with Gundam-style hip and leg armor.   Re: T.A.U.

(...) Thanks Kyle, I'd have to agree with you on the cockpit piece, but I gotta build stuff that doesn't use it so my Mechs don't all look the same. I especially liked how you incorporated it into your quad mech. Keep on building! -Jon (19 years ago, 25-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
