  Re: BIG Site Update!

One thing I always love to see is using pieces in unusual ways. I love the wrench used as a gunsight. Very cool. ~M (25 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: BIG Site Update!

Thanks Karim! I was inspired to do this after I saw how you made your website 100% POV-Ray renderings and because I couldn't stand seeing those God-awful pictures of my "Owl" AG Transport Craft. I'm so happy that I inspire you to build more, since (...) (25 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: BIG Site Update!

Thanks Nathan! The "Butterknife" was just me fooling around with a few pieces. I don't wanna do a mini-fig version because I don't have that many pieces, and I couldn't be able to render such a big model. You can always try though... (...) (...) Mladen, Really nice work! You've got a great style with your models, and you've inspired me to build more things :) Unfortunately, I must resist the temptation and continue sorting my collection! :) --Karim (25 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Just wrap a little piece o' Saran Wrap around the pin, and it'll tighten it up real nice. ~Mark (25 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My first Mech

(...) Hi Mark, Thanks for the comments. The Technic missle launcher thing is something I was doing with my trucks and tanks and stuff, so it just seemed natural to throw then on the mech.   Re: My first Mech

Hi Greg, Looks like you've got a good start. I don't think I've seen anyone use technic beams to simulate missile ports as of yet, so that's a neat idea. The pistons on the legs are a nice touch. Are they functional? I also like the articulated (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
