  Botzor: Good and 3vil

(URL) Here I introduce the Botzors, which are just like Bots, but have a different name. Featured is the Sculptor-Bot, the Star Ranger RocketBot named "Roxor", another blue/grey bot that just looks cool, and Chromum, the 3vil sidekick of Jr.Marshal (...)   Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Thanks Soren! Yeah, I originally did think of an asymmetrical design but I knew I'd mess it up somehow. I like to keep things simple, so I always opt for symmetry. (...) Thanks again. (...) Well, I've noticed your use of colours nicely (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Mmmm, I like it. Your usual attention to detail shows, the "icing" on this one is very nice. I think you missed the boat on the general shape though; this design begs for some asymmetry in weapons placement. Otherwise, a nice addition to your (...)   Re: New MOCs: Bot contest entry and one other

(...) Thanks. For some reason I've been feeling the urge to build small. (...) Maybe. Right now I'm thinking I'll just build an adapter for the cargo racks. Soren (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOCs: Bot contest entry and one other

(...) But does it make your pants tight? :). (...) Thank you. (...) Well, I just borrowed Bruce Lowell's sphere. In my defense, the interior is original, but it wasn't really me. (...) Thanks again. I made a bunch for Brickfest; hopefully we'll see (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Eastern Block Mecha

(...) Excellent work yet again, this has attitude just standing there ! The different poses exhibit textbook EB personality, though with the rearview, you missed the chance for a 'Jennifer Love Hewitt patented over the shoulder moment.' Not that JLH (...)   Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Heh, this is why I love reading your replies LFB, you get the reasoning behind the design! Yes, the "head" was originally a dull block, until I started fiddling around trying to make it "sexier". :-) Too bad LEGO doesn't make pieces that are (...)   Re: Eastern Block Mecha

(...) Allister, you're on a roll lately. How tall is this mech (counting the hat of course)? It looks huge. Epaulets, overcoat buttons, the big hat, the granite jaw, the poses, there's just so much going on. Cool. If it's EB, though, it's going to (...)   Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Thanks Kyle! The GITS-style toes are something I've really wanted to incorporate into all my multiped mecha, but haven't due to lack of initiative. (...) I see what you're saying. The upper portion of the legs bug me a bit too. Guess I should (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: De-lurk and New MOC

(...) snip pic (...) Welcome to .mecha, "The Beef". I remember seeing Ron and Randy's Battletech/Lego site for the first time-it's what got me started making mechs with Lego.   Re: New MOC: "Crab" Tank Mecha

(...) Niiiice. I see the influence of your last multilegged mech, in the square body plan, but I absolutely LOVE that red chin sensor turret! The shape is so organic but so, well, square that the net effect is very pleasing on the eye. I also like (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(URL) Click on Image I'm back after a little diversion... It's feels so good posting about an MOC again.   Eastern Block Mecha

  Re: New mecha: DoomBringer

(...) Always good to get praise from the master! I definately had some lingering inspiration from kyle's mechs. I just had to do one without a definate "head". And of course, it was no problem keeping this mech nice and beefy :D (20 years ago, 18-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
