Thanks Soren!
Yeah, I originally did think of an asymmetrical design but I knew Id mess it up
somehow. I like to keep things simple, so I always opt for symmetry.

Otherwise, a nice addition to your repertoire.

Thanks again.

Im back after a little diversion... It feels so good posting about an
MOC again.

Indeed.

part Soren-ish colour usage and detailing

Hmmm, how exactly would you characterize that? Ive never been able to pick
out any particular feature or technique as distinctly mine. Id be
interested in hearing your take on this.

Well, Ive noticed your use of colours nicely relfects the complexity of real
world machinery. I think Paul Baulch once (rightfully) criticized me for not
doing this. You dont stubbornly stick to just three colours, like I have in
most of my models (my Vanguard is an example of how horrible this can look).
For example, you give each of your details a different colour; missiles are a
different colour than the guns, the optical sensors are varied, etc. What Im
trying to say is, you use certain colours to highlight details that you want the
viewer to pay attention to. That idea appeals to me a lot now. Before I used to
think it produced eye-strain, but now I finally get it. :-)
Hope I explained that well.
