Re: TMC Concept Drop and Retrieval Ship

TMC Concept Drop and Retrieval Ship

Hello everyone. I have been working on dropship ideas for a while. I decided to "try out" some Dropship concepts and came up with Drop And Retrieval Ship DR01A. It is not fully finished but I wanted some constructive criticism from my fellow (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: GLAndroid

(...) Great idea using GLAGLA's armature, that is a great way to learn in my opinion. I have to say, your personal touches are awesome. Love the head! Using that cape was so clever. I have seen a lot of your work but never gave my two cents. When I (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: GLAndroid

(...) Jeff, I know I've seen some of your creations before (however, I've been a bit out of the loop on Lugnet in terms of replying to things), and, despite using the framework, this one is just as cool. The head design is SWEET! Neen and sleek. The (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  GLAndroid

Here's a little ditty I made up for a recent show I am currently having at work. It's a GlaGla body (I am learning by copying the master) but I changed out the minifig arm fingers for skeleton arm fingers. (URL) Go here for more pics: (URL) See! I'm (...)   Re: Latest Mecha From D-Bloc

Hey thanks for the feedback guys! This is about my 5th mecha so far (not my second, that would be good!). And I think its the best I've done yet, however its now in peices as I always look to improve the design and look of the model. Thanks for the (...)   Re: Latest Mecha From D-Bloc

Nice model, very simlilar to the superior gundam in several senses. If i may critique however it think the shoulders and arms could use a bit more detail. The arms also seem a bit skinny. The torso looks OK, i noticed the top of the pilots head (...) (21 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Latest Mecha From D-Bloc

<crickets> Criminy it's quiet around here lately. Where's everybody gone? (...) Very nice build. You can't go past Japanese builders for inspiration. I don't know how they do it, and my own attempts never come close. You, however, have done better (...) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Batch of modular mecha and mecha parts!

Thanks for the feedback. What i was trying to do with the modular mech idea was exactly what you said, allow freedom to customize models based on what they can carry.I am trying to make each new part different from the others. For example, when i (...) (21 years ago, 18-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Batch of modular mecha and mecha parts!

Hi, Great work there... I like the Deus mech in particular. The Wolf Legs are awsome! I don't mind sacrificing some manouvrability for armour, seems like a fair swap in my opinion, especially when it looks so good, (Crust legs!) I really like the (...)   Latest Mecha From D-Bloc

Hi Again! Thanks for all feedback on my first few Mecha designs. This is the latest one, insipred somewhat by the SG Mecha by Ryoichi Takagaki...   Batch of modular mecha and mecha parts!

A few weeks ago i sprung an idea to do a mecha idea similar to moonbase using modular mecha parts. Well, here are some parts i made, using my Argos mech as a base i built a new set of arms, 2 new sets of legs, and a new head. I also put together 2 (...)   a perfect day for something new

The planets alligned giving me the time and space to photograph some creations that have been sitting around. So without further ado... First up as an attempt at PCS.   Re: it's finally here!

(...) wow! thanks for the compliment! the fact is, i was trying very hard to capture the essence of the eva in form. not to give myself propers or nothing, but i was pleased with the overall results of this model. however, as i mentioned in other (...)   Re: My First Mecha

Elroy, I've been trying to find time to post about your debut MOC. I like this one so much, I saved it for last just to keep some attention on it a bit longer. You've catptured something that so many builders miss: the ability to shape the form. (...) (21 years ago, 12-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Puppy Mecha - F.I.D.O.

Hey, how can I fault you if you want to build Snoopy as a mecha? This is a great model that shows off the versatility of the parts and the builder. Great job! When can we expect Woodstock? ;) -Dave (21 years ago, 12-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Smith

Nice job on the 'Blacktron' mecha, Danny! I really enjoy mecha that put the design first and it's quite apparent that's what you were trying to do. I look forward to seeing more great creations from you in the future. -Dave (21 years ago, 12-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: it's finally here!

You've got nothing to apologize for, Jason! This is a phenominal piece of work! You've caputured the very essence of the EVA-not an easy feat to do in the brick. -Dave (21 years ago, 12-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
