Well Ben, I don't have a simple solution for you.
I first built the ship in LDraw. I took screen captures of the different views
of the ship from that program.
I placed the screen captures into Adobe Illustrator and traced over them to get
my vector graphics. I had to color the ship and adjust the stroke weights
manually to get the look that I wanted.
I've been using Adobe Illustrator for years and I find creating tech
illustrations in this manner very tedious. The final result though makes it
worth it (in some cases).
