Comments/critiques? Well, this MOC might not get as many because it is rendered. But I’ll tell you what I think.

Looks cool, and pretty faithful to the original. Space cars are always nice. The details are cool, especially the exposed stuff in the back. Only thing I don’t like are the two large slopes at the front. They make the craft look a little clunky. Maybe the equivalent 1 brick wide slope would work better?

Good work.

Thanks for the comments. I’ve tried that idea at an early stage in the buildingprocess, but discarded it to avoid the “broken nose” or “tractor” look, and went for the more pointy version to make it look faster, but I guess that the resulting dropshaped body is a little too female or cute for a sportscar.

I guess I’ve build myself into a dead end by using that carbase (together with antigrav. dish): Too high and narrow, the original is much flatter.

Here’s couple of quick testshots of what you wrote about:

Anyway: I’m glad you liked details and greebeling, it’s the first time I really try making a model with greebeling and without studs pointing out everywhere (which doesn’t seems very popular around here), but I’m a little uncertaion about what you’re referring to in the back: Red, crome or darkgrey? (or do you really mean the front??)
