But what about for Jesus AND $5,250?

Does Jesus have that kind of money? Just the other day I tried to hit him up for the ten bucks he still owes me and he was all like “Look, man, I’ll pay you later.”

He plays the poor man pretty well, what with the sandals and unkempt look, but it looks like there are quite a few people (pastors, TV evangalists, etc) that are constantly pulling in loot for him. Trust me, he’s got the money.

Isn’t using glue just a gateway drug? Last time I saw Henry Lim he was passed out faced down in an alleyway after freebasing Megablocks.

Ah, that explains this picture of Henry’s “M” purchase gone wrong:

I’d wondered why you had used a minifig Henry to tell that tale.

Anyway, to stray back on topic, if the Reverend’s diorama of Yahweh looking at minifig-arm poop qualified for the contest...

Oh, man, if God looking upon a pile of crap qualifies as “Christmas through the eyes of a child”, that is one sad, sad child. This isn’t a page from your childhood, now, is it, Derek?

Ah, you misquote me, sir. Note that I said “if” it qualified for the contest. I specifically tried to distance it from the contest, but I wanted to at least mention it so as to keep my post--in, perhaps, some small, small way--on topic. But, hey, it could be an Iraqi child, I guess. (Uh, I just reread that last sentence after previewing my post and noted that it might not be taken by some as a joke...so here’s a smiley to show my intent: :) )

And as for my childhood, I’m not saying that I used to get poop as a present, but I will say that instead of shaking my presents to figure out what they are, I smell them.

(...) It took someone long enough to catch that. I hoped that by showing a minifig version of Henry Lim in The Brick Testament, it might bring some much needed attention to his downward spiral into snorting off-brand bricks. (...)
