Christmas is a religious holidy.  (CHRIST-mas)  I'm puzzled as to why anyone
would object to making religious stuff for a religious holidy.

(...) Well, it SORT of is a religious holiday. Not everyone that celebrates at that time of year (winter solstice) does so for religious reasons. We don't. Now, more and more people celebrate christmas as a day to share and love, nothing to do with whatever religious reasons other people might have to celebrate. I know I still celebrate, (...) I visited the website that Jon linked to and from there, i visited the website of the religious organization behind the contest. I think it should be clear to everyone that this contest is a religion-promotion campaign aimed at promoting the (...) (21 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.contests)
