  Re: Motorbike contest anyone?

(...) I thought it was an odd requirement at first as well, but... in the contests I've judged and voted, there has always been at least one entry in which the host was down when I was trying to evaluate the models. How many people will jot down (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Motorbike contest anyone?

(...) My plan is to build a page on my website that links to the Brickshelf thumbnail and large images. They don't have to be in separate folders for that. But it would be convenient. I'll add "(one folder per model)" to the rules. (...) Good point. (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Motorbike contest anyone?

First of all, they're called Future Bikes, or Turbo Cycles. :P (...) I don't see the need for this at all. Let em post it wherever they want. (...) I don't see the need for this, either. If you entered the contest you'd get one vote. That's fair. (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Motorbike contest anyone?

(...) If you are going to have this requirement then you might add that each entry should have its own folder. It's really difficult to try to choose a model when 2 or more are in the same directory and aren't clearly labeled. (...) Another thing (...)   My ISSC Entry is Up

Although I posted pics of my ISSC entry on Brickshelf already, Rene has finally gotten it up on the contest web site, which includes some interesting tidbits on the MOCs. Check it out here: (URL) happen to be contestant #99, which also happens to be (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.trains)

  Re: LFB?

(...) Sorry, I can't cast a vote fairly, because connectivity issues--calling long distance over a 14.4 (!!)--mean that I can't browse the entries and make a fair decision. So if the contest voting is only open until Friday, I won't be able to cast (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.people, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: LFB?

(...) Lindsay, I have extended the voting for the BT1 contest a couple of days ('til Friday) to give you a chance to vote. If anyone can get a hold of Lindsay and let him know this, it would be appreciated. The Scrutinizer (24 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.people, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Zoid Building Contest

Hey. I am new here. Anyway, I tried to post this to the mecha thread but I don't know the lugnet.blah blah. Anyway, I am holding a Zoid Building Contest. There are no prizes seeing as how I'm a poor underage school-going student. But the winner is (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: The Ghostline Express (ISCC Entry)

(...) Awsome--especially the bat-winged engine! Regards, Mike (24 years ago, 8-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  The Ghostline Express (ISCC Entry)

My entry to the ISCC in the Trains category (Railway High Society) has been posted. I decided to dive into the deep end of the pool with the big boys and enter a train creation instead of sticking with a theme that I have more experience with or one (...)   Re: Let the BT1 voting begin!!!

(...) I was wondering the same thing. I noticed that some of the models in competition with my own seem in a different class. Perhaps I placed mine in the wrong class, but I was basing it on the max number of pieces (so in my mind it qualifies). (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Rules for the voting process of the 1. ISCC

(...) This is an added difficulty for voting. Making tube dinosaurs is an amazing creative use of lego pieces, most of all if they are made by a child. When I saw it first and had not read the story, I thought it was some kind of experimental (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Blacktron 1 - Outrider

(...) Innovative use of the Fab door! [and quite a spiffy little ship too!] The cockpit looks large enough to accomodate the wider Fab figure... is it? or is this just wishful thinking on my part? Have you build this in bricks yet? (...) Looks just (...) (25 years ago, 6-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.fabuland, lugnet.space)

Re: Let the BT1 voting begin!!!

(...) Huh?!? If I understand correctly, you want to vote for a model as if it were part of a different category than the one it appears under. I would assume this is the due to the fact that you really like two models in one category. Well Hop-Frog, (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Historical Fire Engine (ISCC entry)

(...) There are some amazing touches in there! I liked the way part of the concrete driveway was darker grey than the rest because that's where the water was spilled. THAT is subtle! (...) in story order. (25 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.build)

  Historical Fire Engine (ISCC entry)

Hi @ll, Frank - Pudie - Abel, a friend from Hatterheim and organizer of last weeks LEGO meeting published his ISCC entry on brickshelf: (URL) build a lovely historical scence with lots of half-timbered houses, historical cars, especially the two (...)
