RE: MOCkery entry: 8 wide Hearse

(...) Thanks, George! I was originally thinking about just copying the grill from my '59 Eldorado, but I thought that would be "cheating", so I decided to go for a later style grill. It was quite a challenge to put the wheels so far toward the front (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Hoverthing Contest

(...) Thanks, Mladen! I'm not sure what posessed me to build the jet parts other than the fact that I'd tried to use them on mecha without success and I really wanted them to work on something. Ultimately, this produced one of the first hoverthings (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: MOCkery entry: 8 wide Hearse

(...) Bram, That's a great hearse, and I am in awe of your ability to create details at such a small scale (ie. the Caddy style grill and the martian arm scrollwork). George (25 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: MOCkery entry: 8 wide Hearse

(...) Bram, your models always amaze me. This is very nice. Just like TLC themselves do, you have invented a certain technique (say, for car doors) and use it across different models. One thing I found distracting about this model was the inverted (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: M450 SkyRacer

(...) Thanks for the comments! The nose is actually very sturdy, I've posted construction notes on brickshelf. ((URL) can see the multiple ways the nose is attached to the fuselage.   Re: MOC: M450 SkyRacer "Instructions" Posted

I've posted Construction Notes on the M450 SkyRacer on Brickshelf. While these are not step by step instructions, I think there are enough pictures to demonstrate how most of this model was made.   RE: M450 SkyRacer

(...) It kind of pushes the open cockpit requirement... (...) Great job! I love the working landing gear. Looks like you put a ton of SNOT work into it too. (...) 3-D pumpkins from their instructions. I found, however, that the 2-D pumpkin was too small in my opinion, and there were too many pieces left over. So I set out to create a bigger pumpkin, using only the pieces from those two Pumpkin Packs. (...) (25 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)
