I'm not sure what posessed me to build the jet parts other than the fact
that I'd tried to use them on mecha without success and I really wanted them
to work on something. Ultimately, this produced one of the first hoverthings
of the contest, but one of the last ones to get posted. It was completed a
mere 2 days into the contest. My other entries showed up only after I
noticed a plethora of others showing up.

That was the point. I looked at what was out there and started working from
that point. Unfortunately, my hoverbus wasn't completed in time and I won't
even go into the hoverhearse concept.... :-)
