Bram, your models always amaze me. This is very nice. Just like TLC
themselves do, you have invented a certain technique (say, for car doors) and
use it across different models.
One thing I found distracting about this model was the inverted gray piece that
suggests the car door frame. I don't mind the black inverted pieces, but the
gray one really jumps out at me and says, "I'm upside down." Now I know that
it is not really upside down and we are just used to seeing studs up as a
normal orientation (and maybe this is why I can't model complex shapes the way
you do..haha) but I think the model would look better if that piece were
black, or perhaps if there were someway to make a thinner door frame...maybe
by putting the piece on sideways? In any case, this is a really nice model.

I found a door hinge that works pretty well, and looks reasonably clean while still being applicable in numerous situations, so I use it :) The only problem is that most of my hinges are the kind with the hollow studs.
