Re: MOC/Town Comp Entry... Lorikeet Lakes

(...) Looks great! I like the architecture. I'd love to see some pics pointing out the details a bit more. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu www.bldesign.org (24 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: MOC/Town Comp Entry... Lorikeet Lakes

(...) Very nice house. My favorite part is the waterfall coming out of the Lounge Room. I went to your site but I couldn't see any other houses. You said this was the second of these estates so I was wondering if you have pics of the first (...) (24 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  MOC/Town Comp Entry... Lorikeet Lakes

Well this time I hope I have posted this to the right newsgroups... :P Here is my entry for the Town Comp held by Kevin Wilson. (URL) is called: 'Lorikeet Lakes' (and is for a long time project that is going to take me forever to come around... (...)   Re: contest hosting

(...) Yeah, that's the one concern I've had. I know that if you try to host contests that require lots of effort, the hoster gets burnt out quickly. But if it takes little effort then the participants can easily get burnt. I know that it took the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  contest hosting

So here's the idea that a friend and I came up with. We're building a setup that would completely automate (or as much as possible, automate) the process of having a lego design contest. We'd like to start having conpetitions running soon, as we've (...) (24 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

I've had some entries so far, but really only a trickle. Don't delay, enter today! Please point your browsers to (URL) see full details of the contest.   TKOI Create a Creature Contest

Hear ye! Hear ye! It seems to me that there are not enough good lego animals and creatures out there. This post is to announce the first ever... possibly annual Kingdom of Ikros Create-a-Creature Contest. It's pretty self explanitory, but I'll (...)   New MOC: Seaside Town

My latest creation is an entry for the 2002 Town Building Contest. As the subject suggests, this is a small town located next to the sea. The thumbnails are somewhat fuzzy for some reason but the larger pictures are better. (URL) I need to build a (...)   Re: VOTING HAS STARTED...!!!! GO AUSTRALIA

(...) Relax, Larry. Whether it was in fun or not, I'm positive there will be some biased voting (not only per country either). Hopefully all that will balance itself out in the end. Good luck to all the entrants (is it bad luck to wish yourself good (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: VOTING HAS STARTED...!!!! GO AUSTRALIA

(...) Larry, I wouldn't take it tooo seriously. The Entries from the amount of Australians I would imagine won't be a huge sum. I'm sure other places like the US will dominate 'little populated' Australia when it comes to submitting entries etc. (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: VOTING HAS STARTED...!!!! GO AUSTRALIA

(...) Hopefully that was just in fun. I'll be voting without regard to where people are from, what their politics are, etc. That's what the spirit of this contest is supposed to be. But I *suppose* someone from the USA, seeing your post and not (...) (24 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.contests)

ISCC: There are 157 entries with 1470 pictures - vote now!

Hello @ all! Do you remember? There was (there IS) the ISCC ;-) Over two thirds of the entries came short before New Years Day (deadline was Dec-31), so it took time until now to place all 157 entries. But now it's done and I wouldn't know what to (...)   New Office Building - Obal Office

I am proud to announce my latest building: the Obal Office. (URL) getting a bunch of this arch(1) in white, I wanted to use them.   # of Photo's in the ISCC?

www.1000steine.de/english.htm I'm still unclear, and no definitive answer has been made!
