I'm glad you like it. To answer your question: Since the most common tan
piece seems to be the 2x4 brick, most of the exterior structure is made up
of such brick. The walls, and so forth, are all 2x wide. The statue,
however, is kind of heavy so I built a multi-colored tower that goes up the
middle of the pedestal and supports the actual statue. The tower is square,
4x wide and about 16 studs long on all sides. The tower is covered by the
tan facade, but that is what the statue is really resting on. I don't know
if that was the most efficient option, but it seemed the easiest way to do
it at the time.
